Things have been quiet in the world of Pascal’s Wager since the Tides of Oblivion DLC went live in August. Fortunately, the coders at Tipsworks Studio have been busy.
Some time soon the game is due to get the aptly named Winter 2020 update. It’ll be available for free, and included in the update will be a new Boss Challenge mode, which will let you take on bosses you’ve previously beaten in timed encounters.
We’re not entirely sure when the new content will arrive, but strictly speaking it’s not due until at least the 21st of December, when winter technically begins. We’ll happily excuse Tipsworks for delivering it sooner, though.
In addition to announcing this forthcoming update, Tipsworks has also revealed that Pascal’s Wager has hit 1m downloads, which isn’t at all bad for a premium release.
In case you’re not familiar with it, Pascal’s Wager is a soulslike action-RPG in which you stride around in a gloomy fantasy world killing monsters with a big sword.
