League of Legends: Wild Rift Open Beta Will Reach the Americas on March 29th

League of Legends: Wild Rift, the first mobile spin-off of Riot Games’s seminal MOBA League of Legends, will finally get an open beta in the Americas this month.

Having initially launched in select Asian regions, League of Legends: Wild Rift hit app stores across Europe and the Middle East last December.

Riot Games promised in January that the game’s westward voyage would terminate in the Americas this March, and the latest announcement appears to validate that promise.

While the wait has been frustrating for gamers in the US, Canada, and the Central and South American nations, there’s some consolation in the fact that the version that will eventually wash up on their shores will be rigorously playtested.

The game has received several content updates during its open beta, too. American players will be getting the whole lot on day one.

Only another couple of weeks to go. You can pre-register for League of Legends: Wild Rift on the Google Play Store now.
