Tomb Raider Reloaded Is a Top-Down Shooter for Mobile, Out Now in Thailand and the Philippines

Tomb Raider Reloaded, the enigmatic forthcoming mobile game from Square Enix, has soft-launched in Thailand and the Philippines.

That means we finally know what it looks like in action, the initial teaser trailer having been notably light on details of any kind. It seems that Tomb Raider Reloaded is a top-down, vertically scrolling shooter in which you make your way from room to room killing stuff like frogs, blobs, and small dinosaurs.

At the end of certain rooms you get to spin a roulette wheel for rewards or choose between a selection of powers, giving the whole thing a vaguely Hades-esque vibe. Don’t put too much weight on that comparison.

We’ll learn more about Tomb Raider Reloaded over the coming weeks as players finally get to put the game through its paces.

It’s still not clear when Tomb Raider Reloaded will launch for real, but we do at least know what to expect.

If you’re lucky enough to live in Thailand or the Philippines, you can download Tome Raider Reloaded for free right now on the Google Play Store.
