Cobra Kai: Card Fighter, the Free Card Game Spin-off of the Hit Netflix Series, Is Out Now on Android

Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is here. Developed by Boss Team Games, it’s a free-to-play card game with turn-based combat, and it features characters and locations from the Netflix show.

Story-wise, Cobra Kai: Card Fighter sees you choosing between Miyagi-do and Cobra Kai – which is pretty much like choosing whether to be a goodie or a baddie, although life in the complex moral universe of teenage California karate is never that simple.

You’ll train students, build your roster, and then take on opponents in PvP battles. These fights are turn-based, and involve placing cards to deal with your opponent’s attacks and launch attacks of your own. It’s a bit like rock-paper-scissors, but with combos, wildcards, XP, and other nerd stuff that Johnny Lawrence doesn’t understand.

Cobra Kai: Card Fighter is a solid card-battler with a nifty premise, though the game has come in for some early criticism due to its slightly iffy character models and some early bugs.

Still, it’s free, and absolutely worth checking out. You can download Cobra Kai: Card Fighter right now on the Google Play Store.
