PAC-MAN GEO 2.0 Update Adds New Skills and a World Tour Mode

PAC-MAN GEO – not to be confused with Pac-Man AR, the forthcoming Square Enix Montreal game – has just been updated to version 2.0.

As befits a leap from one integer to the next, the update is a substantial. And the most significant new addition is the World Tour Mode, which lets you experience 24 mazes based on real-world maps from around the globe.

The update also adds a few new consumable skills, including Repel, Vacuum, and others. Bandai Namco is giving away five free uses of Vacuum as sweetener.

In case you’re not familiar with it, PAC-MAN GEO is a Pac-Man game that lets you play in mazes based on Google Maps data. That means you can chomp power pills around the Arc de Triomphe, gobble ghosts in Times Square, get fatally cornered in Shibuya, Tokyo, and so on.

You don’t have to rely on these iconic locales, of course. You can make a map out of anywhere, including the streets around your very own house.

You can download PAC-MAN GEO for free right now on the Google Play Store.
