XCOM 2 Collection Coming to Android Next Month

At the end of last year, XCOM 2 Collection launched on iOS. We’ve been huffing and puffing ever since, waiting for the game to land on Android. Well, the wait is almost over – XCOM 2 Collection is set to release on the Play Store next month.

The collection gives you the base XCOM 2: War of the Chosen experience, as well as a whole bunch of DLC – Alien Hunters, Shen’s Last Gift, Anarchy’s Children and the Resistance Warrior Pack.

It also features a new interface designed specifically for touchscreen devices. So you’re getting a version of one of the best strategy games ever made, and it’s going to play brilliantly on your phone. Madness. Here’s a trailer.

What are you going to have to fork out for this gem? Well, it isn’t cheap, but then you wouldn’t imagine it would be with all of that content packed into one package. XCOM 2: Collection will be $24.99. That’s the same price you’d pay on the App Store.

There aren’t any IAPs in the game, either. You pay once and you get the whole kaboodle. And who doesn’t love a kaboodle, quite frankly?

XCOM 2: Collection is up for pre-registration, and you can do that by clicking right here. The game will go live around the world on July 13th, so you’ve got about three weeks to wait until it comes out.
