First Three Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters Now Live on the Play Store

The first three Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters have landed on the Play Store. We’ve been talking about them for a while, but if you’re not familiar, here’s the scoop – these are faithful 2D pixel conversions of the original Final Fantasy games. Basically they’re deboots.

The first three games to be released are Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III, which is some neat chronological behavior from Square Enix for a change.

You can pick up each of the game’s separately, but there doesn’t seem to be any sort of bundle available for Android players at the moment which is kind of disappointing. Ah well, here’s a trailer for FFI.

And here are some download links, if you’d like to give the games a go.

All of the games are premium, so one purchase gets you everything. You’ll need a device that’s running at least Android 6.0 to play them as well.

What do you think? Will you be buying these, or have you already bought them enough times in different iterations to make another purchase feel icky? Let us know.
