Kabam has announced that the first round of voting for this year’s Summoner’s Choice event is set to kick off on January 7th. That, according to our stone tablets, is this Friday.
The event allows players of Contest of Champions – the dev’s Marvel-themed kick-and-punch-a-thon – to select a new character for the game’s roster. Which is pretty cool.
There are 12 different pugilists to choose from, split into three different brackets. The voting takes place in-game and, for the first time, on the game’s official twitter page as well.

You can probably see them in the image at the top of the page, but here are the 12 heroes, villains and somewhere-in-betweens that you can make your choice from.
