Earlier in the year we got a Blacken Slash demo to have a play with. Now things have moved on a step forward – the game is available on the Play Store in early access. Neato.
Blacken Slash is a retro-tastic, turn-based dungeon crawler that sees you working your way through a series of levels, hacking and slashing and sucking up loot like some mad loot vacuum.
It’s one of those games that’s easy to get to grips with, but offers a hefty depth to anyone willing to put the time in. Which is exactly the kind of thing we’re into. Here’s a new gameplay trailer.
You can play on your own, or jump online and show off your skills in weekly leaderboards. There are a bunch of achievements to unlock, and the levels are short enough to fit into bite-sized play sessions.
