We have been saying for awhile now that worldwide Android gamers could use some serious bullet hell shooters to play and we have gotten the odd one here and there. However, today two of the bigger names in bullet hell shooters have arrived on Google Play for worldwide players, meaning it has been translated into English!
Both Espgaluda II and DoDonPachi Resurrection have arisen from the fiery depths of bullet hell and are now available for everyone to play. For those of you unfamiliar with what a bullet hell shooter is, the name of the genre should give you an idea. Generally these games consist of having to dodge a ridiculous amount of bullets being fired at you from enemies while you try to shoot your enemies with massive weapons which, at times, ends up covering the screen almost completely in bullets.
Espgaluda II

While both games are bullet hell shooters, they are also very different. Espgaluda II has some unique power-ups such as the ‘Awakened’ one which slows down time but also freezes your movements. The longer you go in this state without getting hit, the higher the multiplier and points you earn.
DoDonPachi Resurrection on the other hand is pure bullet hell goodness. No weird gimmicks or anything like that. Just power-ups to make your weapon shoot more bullets while trying to dance your way through the onslaught of bullets coming at you. This game also features secrets to find in rather unique ways like shaking your phone.

Both games come courtesy of G-Gee (Publisher) and CAVE (developer) and are now available to download, play and subsequently get frustrated at for $5.99 each. Bullet Hell shooter fans got a bit of an early Christmas present this year although we had a feeling these would make their way to us in English awhile back.
