Introducing The 99 Nights in the Forest Poison Master
The Poison Master Class takes after the newly added frogs, which sometimes inflict a poison status effect on players they attack. This deals small but consistent damage over time, allowing the frogs to whittle players down before they can retreat or react.
Costing 200 Diamonds, the Poison Master starts players within this class with x1 Blowpipe and x1 Poison Armour.
- Blowpipe
- Infinite ammo, but can only fire 3 shots before entering a 10-second cooldown. If hit, the target is inflicted with poison.
- Poison Armour
- Works similarly to thorny armour, where mobs get hurt when attacking the wearer. Instead of dealing flat damage, it has the chance to poison attackers.
Poison Master Upgrades
- Level 1: Poison effects are stronger.
- Poison Master players deal more poison damage than other players.
- Level 2: Defeated enemies have a 25% chance to spread their poison effect on death to nearby mobs.
- How to unlock: Kill 100 enemies that are poisoned.
- Level 3: A stronger vein of Level 1, where the Poison Master player deals even more Poison damage on hit.
- How to unlock: Kill 250 enemies that are poisoned.
Is Poison Master Good?
This answer is more to personal taste, but I’ll give you my thoughts. Beginning the game with an infinite-use weapon and armour is overpowered, regardless of the long-term usability of said equipment. However, 200 Diamonds is quite the steep price, and you’re able to get both items with relative ease by defeating the Frog King boss in its lair.
