Now let’s start thinking with Portals.
About Portals
Portals are a new game mode for Anime Vanguards. They’re items that let you, and up to five other players, jump through into a new kind of round. In these rounds, elemental damages and interactions will come heavily into play. Beating a Portal round can reward you with special units, special currency, gift boxes, or higher tier Portals that let you play a harder version of the round for greater rewards.
Currently there are two Portal-exclusive units:
- Soburo – From the Hidden Gateway Portal
- Regnaw – From the Ice Portal
How To Get Portals
How to get a Portal depends on what kind you want, so let’s split these up to make the explanation a bit simpler.
Winter Portal (Tier One)
You can buy a Tier One Winter Portal from the Winter Shop in the Story area for 500 Gems. This lets you trigger a Tier One Portal in the Lobby.
Winter Portal (Tier Two+)
You can earn higher tier Winter Portals by winning lower Tier Winter Portal rounds. Win a Tier One Portal to get a Tier Two Portal, win a Tier Two Portal to win a Tier Three Portal, and continue this dynamic until around Tier Ten.
Ice Portal
This rare Portal is a 1 in 200 drop on completion of a Tier Ten Winter Portal.
Hidden Gateway
A potential reward for being Worldline Floor 50.
