What Does Each Crop Sell For?

To look into this, we decided to test our crops and check how much they’re valued at.

  • A 14.24kg Ember Lily sells for 78275c
  • A 14kg Beanstalk sells for 54880c

While the Ember Lily itself was heavier, it still demonstrated a higher sale price than the individual Beanstalk. It’s also worth noting that Ember Lilies tend to weigh more than Beanstalk crops do in our experience.

Which Is Better?

While we found the Ember Lily a more valuable crop, we would still advise on Beanstalks as a better use of your money, assuming you have plenty of space for them.

Why? It comes down to numbers.

An Ember Lily can grow one lily at a time. The growth time isn’t huge, but means you would need to actively harvest the lily each time to grow a new flower, which isn’t the most efficient thing.

Beanstalks, on the other hand, can grow multiple crops at a time over a pretty big area. This means more money from sales, but also a bigger chance that some might catch one of the valuable mutations like Shocked, Celestial, or Disco. If you’re looking to make as much money as possible for your investment in a Prismatic Seed, then Beanstalk is still the way to go.
