Whether you’re a new player and need some tips or you’re an experienced hunter and want to know if you’re on the right track, our Beaks Progression guide is here to help. We’ll talk you through which guns to use depending on where you are in the game, and the order in which you should visit locations.

Beaks Progression Guide

I’ve broken it down into Gun progression, and the order you should visit areas in!

Gun Progression

The most important thing you’ll need in Beaks is a gun… and a good one at that! When you first start, you will have the Beakswood Rifle. You’ll want to grind XP until you reach level 5, as you can then buy the Hunter’s Rifle in Beakswood for 1,500.

If you can hold out, you may want to wait until you have 12,500 saved in cash so you can buy the Lakeborne Rifle. This also has a level 5 requirement, but has higher stats than the Hunter’s Rifle.

As you begin to progress through the game and make your way to the mid-stage of gameplay, the MT. Beaks Long-Rifle is a solid choice. You can buy this for 20,000 in Mountain Beaks once at level 20. Similarly, the Summit Rifle from Mountain Beaks makes for a good option. You must be at level 25, and it costs 30,000.

For those in the late game, you have two options. The Deadlands Long Rifle or the Viper Rifle. You can buy both of these from the Deadlands. The Viper Rifle is slightly better, though, as it has higher stats overall. It costs 40,000 and has a level requirement of 35.

Area Progression

You may have noticed that the gun progression matches certain areas. For example, all the mid-game guns are found in Mountain Beaks, and the end game is found in the Deadlands. There is a reason for this! The recommended order in which you visit each location is the following:

  • Beakswood
    • Early game
    • Where you first spawn!
  • Quill Lake
    • Early to mid-game
  • Mountain Peaks
    • Mid game
  • Deadlands
    • Late game

As you go through each area, the birds you find tend to be harder to capture. Therefore, the gun progression goes alongside the order you should visit the areas! To save time traveling between locations, it’s worth buying a glider. Check out the guide linked above to find out more.

When it comes to making money, Mountain Peaks is one of the best. This is home to Flamingos, and they sell for roughly 100 each. Grinding this area is great to earn XP to level up.
