Block Tales Card Tier List

Our Block Tales Card Tier List has ranked all the obtainable cards in Block Tales from strongest to weakest, so you know which cards are the best to use!

Block Tales Card Tier List

Different cards offer different abilities, so choose your cards wisely.

S-Tier

These are the best cards to use! Try and get your hands on them asap.

  • HP Drain– Regenerates your HP when attacking enemies, letting you battle it out longer!
  • Safe Guard– Reduces DMG taken when you guard
  • Charge DEF– Boosts your Defense
  • Resurrect– Resurrects a member in your team that has fallen
  • Snowball– Freezes any enemies you target
  • I Spy– This will send out an alert to let you know if there is a Bux in the area
  • HP+ – Increases your overall HP
  • Cure– Replenishes HP if it’s low
  • Linebounce– Attacks all nearby enemies with a ball, dealing out damage when they get hit

A-Tier

If you can’t get cards in S-Tier, these are still great!

  • Good Vibes– When you sleep, this will regenerate your HP and SP for you and any members on your team
  • HP Finder– Regenerates HP in battle
  • Fireball– Burns enemies
  • Ice Dagger – Regenerates HP and SP for you and any members in your party
  • Thorns– Counterattack DMG increases
  • Power Stab– Strong sword attack that uses more of your Strength stat
  • Daze– Makes enemies dizzy
  • SP Finder– Regenerates SP in battle
  • SP Saver– Abilities cost less SP
  • Pity SP– Gives you the chance to still gain SP even if you are taking DMG
  • Happy HP– Regenerates an extra 1 HP per round and buffs your Defense for 3 rounds

B-Tier

These cards are okay in some circumstances, but still not great. If you’re a beginner, these will work well.

  • Happy SP– Restores 1 SP after each round ends
  • Ante Up – If you use an Action Command correctly, your DMG gets boosted. If you don’t use it correctly, you will deal 0 DMG
  • Minimize– Shrinks your enemy in size
  • Lucky Start– An extra boost of luck! Something good will happen when you begin a fight
  • Item+ – Buffs all of your items up
  • Shrinking– Shrinks you down in size
  • SP Drain– Regenerates your overall SP while attacking any enemies or bosses
  • SP Regen+ – Any SP you’ve earned at the end of your battle will be increased
  • Defend+ – Your defense is buffed up by 1
  • Baller– Your Ball attack power is increased, however you can’t use your sword anymore

C-Tier

These are good if you’re a beginner, but try and get your hands on better cards soon!

  • Dynamite– Destroys any rubble in the area, clearing up a path
  • Sacrifice– Heals your party members with 5HP, however you will have to sacrifice 5 HP from yourself
  • Free Poison– Grant an ally with the Poison ability, but you can no longer use your ball
  • Knight– Your sword attack power is boosted, however you can’t use a ball anymore
  • Speed Spin– Spin dash increases in speed, but not for long. Not so speedy, right?
  • Sword Toss– Throw a sword at the enemy, dealing a small amount of damage
  • Hard Mode– Increases the level of difficulty in a battle to give you more EXP

D-Tier

These are the jokers (get it? ahem…) make sure to avoid these!

  • ATK-FX Y– Changes sound effects of attacks
  • Ball– Not a literal ball. It is the standard card you obtain when starting the game… it doesn’t do much
  • ATK-FX B– Changes sound effects of attacks
  • ATK-FX G– Changes sound effects of attacks
  • Defender– Boosts your Defense by 1, however reduces your Attack by 1
  • Sword– Breaks down any wooden planks in the area to attack your enemies
  • Slow Go– You move slower, which isn’t ideal. Enemies can catch up quicker.
