Can You Mutate Pets More Than Once?
In short, yes, you can. Placing your pet in the Mutation Machine will reset its levels, so you will need to raise your pet’s level back up to Level 50 and try the Mutation Machine again a second time.
Do Mutations Stack?
No. You cannot have more than one mutation on a pet at a time. If you place a pet with a mutation in the Mutation Machine it will wipe the previous mutation and replace it with a new one (unless you roll the same mutation twice).
What Are The Best Mutations?
There are certain mutations we don’t necessarily recommend replacing. These are as follows.
- Ascended – Applies the Dawnbound mutation to nearby crops from time to time. This mutation is usually only found on Sunflowers and gives a x150 sale price boost.
- Shocked – The pet acts like a permanent Lightning Rod, attracting strikes during thunderstorms.
- Rainbow – A straight upgrade to the pet’s passive. Great unless the pet’s skill is bad.. though if it is, why are you levelling it so much?
We’d suggest you keep these unless you have a very good reason to want to mutate again.
