Dead Rails gets pretty frequent content updates, and with it, pretty frequent new classes grace the Tailors shop. It might be hard to keep track of what’s new. That’s why we’ve put together our handy Dead Rails new classes guide. We’ll keep this updated with the latest classes introduced in the regular updates, so you know all the latest.

You can play Dead Rails on Roblox. If you want to know about all the other new content that’s arrived in-game, you can take a look at our Dead Rails update guide.

Dead Rails New Classes Guide

We’ll go over each class, and make sure to leave the date so you’ll know when they arrived.

Potions Update

This update added one new class.

The Milkman

This class is available through The Tailor’s. It makes use of the new liquids system available in-game. The Milkman gets a buff when saturated with the new milk liquid. The buffs are extremely strong, making this one of the best classes in the game right now.

Easter Update

The following classes became available as of the Easter update, though may not be around for long.

Eggslinger

You unlock this class by defeating the Easter Bunny boss in combat. By defeating the giant rabbit you absorb his power, the power to create Easter Eggs. The Eggslinger falls into the minion-summoning class, they will be able to create an Easter Egg every two minutes, from this, they’ll hatch a friendly minion that will attack enemies. Useful! This doesn’t need corpses or consume health like the Necromancer, and doesn’t require finding a specific enemy type like the Packmaster. (Though is comparatively slow.)

April 11th Update

The following classes arrived on the small April 11th update.

Musician

The Musician is a support class armed with the mighty… banjo. No wait, stay with it. Their banjo-plucking skills have a restorative effect on any players nearby, regenerating their health slowly by playing. This doesn’t cost the Musician anything, making them a handy healer for the group, but a pretty awful solo character.

Necromancer

This sinister hooded figure has the spooky resurrection powers present in the Jade Mask and the Jade Sword, but at a price. This class’ melee attack has a 25% to raise an enemy taken out by it as a friendly undead servant, though it will cost the Necromancer some health.

Packmaster

They threw you to the wolves, and you came back leading the pack. The Packmaster is another class that uses allied units to attack. Packmasters spawn in with three tamed wolves to fight with. In addition, any wolf that tries to attack the Packmaster will be immediately tamed without a need for a body.

Werewolf

A bad moon is rising, and the werewolf is getting a stat boost. This wolf-headed class gets double damage, speed, and health after dark, in exchange for a 10% nerf from the default during the day.
