About The Priest
The Priest is the newest class added to the game with the latest content update.
Your passive ability gives you an immunity to lightning strikes, a new event that came in in the same update. This allows you to walk around in the open during Lightning Storm events.
Priests spawn with the following starter items:
- 2 Crucifix
- Shovel
- 2 Holy Water
How To Get Priest
You can purchase the Priest class from the Tailor in the lobby. It costs 75 Bonds, making it the second most expensive class available so far, only cheaper than the Ironclad.
You can get Bonds by breaking into bank vaults in towns along the route. They persist between runs, so you can save up between your runs. You don’t need to get all of it at once.
Is The Priest Worth It?
The new class is a pretty hefty Bond investment. So is it worth your hard earned currency? In our humble opinion, we’d rate the Priest as a good class with a useful balance of gear. You can use them to get yourself out of a lot of tricky situations, or you can sell some of them for a decent money boost early on if you’d rather pick you own gear. It’s also a class that many players searching for a group will request, because of the gear, and the ability to avoid damage from Lightning Storms.
