Dig Bosses Guide – An Overview on Defeat!
When a boss spawns, a marker will appear on the map to point players in their general direction. To join the fight, step inside the ring around the boss and click to dig. Unlike the regular digging minigame, you can exit anytime to move out of the way when the boss targets an attack, as seen with red circles inside their attack radius.
With the help of servermates, whittle a boss down and defeat them to generate random rewards from their pool of prizes.
Fuzzball
With the least health of all bosses, having only 25,000 HP, the Fuzzball boss spawns after players pluck a strange flower found at Verdant Vale. On defeat, this boss will drop several of the following:
- 1,000-1,500 EXP (100% chance)
- $3,300-$5,500 (100% chance)
- 1-2 Fuzz Baby (90% chance)
- x1 Fuzzball (30% chance)
- x1 Bunny Teeth (30% chance)
- x1 Fuzzball Sticker (25% chance)
- x1 Fuzzball’s Foot (15% chance)
King Crab
Most local to all players’ humble beginnings at Fox Town, the King Crab takes residence at Cinder Shores. If not spawning naturally, players can use the Seafarer’s Horn to summon this boss.
The King Crab has 35,000 HP total, and has a chance to drop the following items:
- 300-700 EXP (100% chance)
- $1,000-$2,000 (100% chance)
- 1-2 King Claws (100% chance)
- Abyssal Shovel (30% chance)
- x1 King Crab Sticker (25% chance)
- x1 King Crab (20% chance)
- x1 Crab Crown (7% chance)
Candlelight Phantom
Located in the whimsical Rooftop Woodlands, this Chandelure-like boss has 65,000 HP. The Candlelight Phantom will naturally spawn, or can be summoned using a Phantom Horn. On defeat, it will drop a goodie bag of the following:
- 700-900 EXP (100% chance)
- $4,000-$5,500 (100% chance)
- 1-2 Candlelight Lanterns (100% chance)
- Candlelight Shovel (40% chance)
- x1 Candlelight Phantom Sticker (25% chance)
- x1 Candlelight Phantom (20% chance)
- x1 Candlelight Tendrils (7% chance)
Basilisk
Spawned using a Toxic Horn or naturally spawning in the Copper Mesa, this oversized snake boss has 80,000 HP. On defeat, it has the chance to drop several of the following:
- 1,200-1,500 EXP (100% chance)
- $7,000-$8,000 (100% chance)
- 1-2 Basilisk Fangs (100% chance)
- Venomous Shovel (40% chance)
- x1 Basilisk (30% chance)
- x1 Basilisk Sticker (25% chance)
- x1 Basilisk Scales (7% chance)
Giant Spider
Tied with the Basilisk, the Giant Spider also stunts 80,000 HP! This creepy crawly spawns within the Cinder Cavern, or can be summoned using a Webs Horn. On defeat, it has the chance to drop the following:
- 1,200-1,400 EXP (100% chance)
- $9,000-$12,500 (100% chance)
- 1-3 Spider Eggs (100% chance)
- Arachnid’s Shovel (40% chance)
- x1 Giant Spider Sticker (25% chance)
- x1 Giant Spider (20% chance)
- x1 Spider Crown (7% chance)
Molten Monstrosity
Living up to its name, this oversized furnace has a whopping 350,000 HP! The Molten Monstrosity spawns on a platform in Molten Cavern and requires a Blue Moon Horn to awaken it for battle. On defeat, it drops some hot rewards, including:
- 3,000-3,500 EXP (100% chance)
- $15,000-$20,000 (100% chance)
- 1-2 Molten Alloys (100% chance)
- Monstrous Shovel (35% chance)
- x1 Molten Monstrosity Sticker (25% chance)
