Why You Need To Find Ghosts
If you take a trip to the graveyard within the thick mushroom forest of Rooftop Woodlands, you’ll find an NPC shaking in fear. By speaking to Sam, you can pick up the Ghostbuster questline, where he requests that you find three Ghosts and return to him for a prize.
After completing this quest, Sam will reward you with some EXP, Cash, and an Ectoplasm Sleeve Charm. This Mythical Charm fastens onto a player’s arm, and has the following attributes:
- Pip 1: Endurance (+5% to +25%)
- Pip 2: Control (+5% to 21%)
- Pip 3: None
- Ability: 20% chance to find Plasma mutated items. (1.4x Value)
This quest isn’t too tricky to complete, so long as you have a Shovel sturdy enough to handle legendary items. I recommend taking the challenge since the Ectoplasm Sleeve is one of the better Charms to obtain currently in the game!
Dig Ghost Preferences
Now you know why you should find Ghosts. Aside from the obvious, which is to complete your journal, let’s talk about the preferences of these ghoulish ghosts!
Ghosts are a legendary item, which appears white when young, and green when old. Despite being undead, they have a few nitpicky preferences, including Foggy weather during Summer.
Seasons happen according to a real-world clock, so you’ll need to be vigilant of the changeover to catch Summer. Fortunately, when a season begins, it lasts approximately 9 hours before changing.
As for Fog, this weather currently doesn’t have a horn to summon it, unlike Rain and Thunder. You’ll simply have to bank on having decent Luck stats when ghostbusting…
