What Is The Glinted Shovel?
The Glinted Shovel is a (currently) end-game shovel in Dig. It resembles a shovel with an ornate blade, with the center missing, surrounded by a gold aura. Its preferred digging surface is Rock.
It has the following stats:
- Control: 9
- Strength: 7.5
- Haste: 7
- Luck: 25
- Damage: 86
The Glinted Shovel also has the following passive abilities.
- Gradual Endurance healing while using the Glinted Shovel to Dig.
- Any treasure you dig up with the Glinted Shovel has a 20% to have the Golden modification, which gives a 2.5x boost to the object’s sale value.
How Do You Get The Glinted Shovel?
You can find the Glinted Shovel on the Copper Mesa. If you want to reach the Copper Mesa, you fight need to qualify to travel to the Second Island, as that’s where the location is. To get to the Second Island you need to ride the Cinder Ferry from Cinder Shores. To get the ferry, you need to have completed half of all the total journal entries for Cinder Island.
You will need $345,000 to buy the Shovel, and the Glider to access it.
Once you get to Copper Mesa, do the following:
- Follow the road uphill until you reach the Saloon, take a right here, and carry on uphill.
- Drive until you reach a crossroad with a pyramid. Park your vehicle here and look for a path on the right, over some rocks.
- You should see a canyon ahead with some dead trees inside. Just into the canyon and do a 180 to see a large cave.
- Head into the cave, known as Sovereign Chasm.
- Use the Glider to get over the lava pool.
- Keep following the path, and you should see a hallway. Be careful, there are swinging axe traps here after you get over the lava section of the hallway. Getting hit by one of these is instant death; time your moves.
- After the axes, you should see a pile of treasure with the Glinted Shovel on top. It costs $345,000 to buy.
