Dig It Rainbow Event Guide
Much like other Events in Dig It, they happen by chance at random. Or, if you have the Robux to spare, visit the Gandolf NPC on Nookville and exchange 79 Robux, and he will then conjure your chosen Event. One thing to note is that he cannot override an ongoing Event, so you’ll need to be patient if so.
Naturally, the Rainbow Event has a 12% chance (Roughly) to spawn per day cycle. When active, all players receive a 5% chance to dig up treasure with the Rainbow modifier at any diggable location. The Rainbow modifier is an item mutation that alters its selling value and cosmetic.
Currently, it’s second only to Quantum, with its Rainbow x4 value versus Quantum x5 value. This makes the Rainbow Event very valuable as it’s a great time to money farm! As expected, items with the Rainbow mutation shift through the colour wheel.
Best Build For The Rainbow Event
If you want to prepare for this money-maker, I recommend you use a high-luck Shovel and bag with a large loot capacity. This means fewer trips to the merchant for its duration, wasting time when you could be digging for Rainbow Mythicals!
The Lunar (Level 30+), Ioniser (Level 45+) and Meteor (Level 55+) Shovels are ideally your best selections. However, behind high-level level-caps, this restricts the Rainbow Event to late-game players. So, for us lower levels (Myself included), the free day 2 login reward Evil Shovel should suffice! As for bags, the bigger the better! I honestly recommend just buying what’s available to you at the time.
