Do Pet Buffs Stack In Grow a Garden

The short answer is yes! Pet buffs do, in fact, stack in Grow a Garden.

This is huge for productivity, depending on which pets you have doubles of. But ultimately, two is better than one, regardless of whether it’s a common or limited-time pet.

How Do Stacked Buffs Work?

If you have two of the same pet active at once, their buffs overlap and double up. This helps you focus on a clear goal, if you want your garden to have a certain outcome, such as profit, mutations, size, egg hatching, or otherwise.

Should You Have Two of the Same Pet Active at Once?

Absolutely! Depending on the pet, you could hugely influence your profits and produce productivity with the simple addition of a second pet.

For example, the new Hedgehog pet from the Lunar Glow event has a passive that influences prickly fruits such as cacti, giving them a 1.50x size bonus during growth, even offline, so long as the hedgehog is active.

If your profits rely on cacti, having two, or even three, hedgehogs would greatly increase profits as all cacti would grow larger and set a new average. With two hedgehogs, you’d gain a 3x size buff, and with three, you’d have a neat 4.5x size bonus!

The Three Best Pets To Double Up On

  • Giant Ant
    • 10% chance to duplicate a harvested fruit.
    • Each ant adds +10%, making it easy to duplicate high-value produce.
  • Dragonfly
    • Every 5 minutes, the dragonfly turns a random fruit Golden (x20 value).
    • With multiple Dragonflies, the gold crops make quick turnovers, making the garden efficient and profit-heavy.
  • Raccoon
    • Duplicates a crop from another player’s garden every 15 minutes and gives it to their owner.
    • Having multiple raccoons means more high-tier crops come your way without needing to grow them yourself!
