Aliens have arrived, and with them comes the Fisch Alien Mutation! We’ll explain how to get this extraterrestrial mutation and what it does to your fish that have it.

Fisch Alien Mutation
When a fish has something with the Alien mutation, it turns translucent and becomes covered in green particles. Very fitting! But more importantly, anything with this mutation will have an 8x increase in value. It isn’t the best mutation you can get, but an 8x is a lot if you’re selling fish for profit.
How to Get The Alien Mutation
There are a few ways you can get this mutation for yourself. Keep in mind that, unlike many of the other mutations available, you cannot get the Alien mutation through appraisals.
UFO Bait
Using UFO Bait gives you a 100% chance to catch something with this mutation, so this is the best method available. The only way to get this bait is from the Black Market Admin Event. If this is in stock, it costs 100,000C$ for one piece of bait… which is very expensive. Better start saving up!
Alien Event
You also have a 100% chance to catch something with the Alien mutation during the Alien event. But this is admin-only, which means that only admins can make this event happen. Usually, admins trigger these unique events before an update drops, so I suggest logging in then.
Mega Mayhem Event
Mega Mayhem is another admin-only event. During this, there is a slim 5.6% chance of catching something with the Alien mutation. But something is better than nothing!
