Bait works in cohesion with your rod type to increase Luck, Lure Speed and Resiliency when thinning the fishy populations surrounding the many islands of Fisch.
To get your hands on Bait, visit the sleeping NPC on the edge of Moosewood Docks, which sells Bait Crates for 120C$. Alternatively, complete the quest given by the Phineas NPC at Moosewood to receive x10 Crates on completion. Or, simply fish up Bait Crates!
