There’s a new rod in Fisch, but… something’s a bit off. Let’s get into some details on the Fisch Experimental Rod.
You can play Fisch now on Roblox. If you’re interested in some more about the new quest, maybe also take a look at our Roblox The Takeover Fisch challenge guide.
Fisch Experimental Rod Guide
What Is The Experimental Rod?
The Experimental Rod is a new fishing rod added as part of the The Takeover event. It’s.. a little odd, resembling an even jankier version of the Flimsy Rod, with stats that look like someone was just putting in numbers on the keyboard without thinking.
The stats are:
- Lure Speed: 12.2346%
- Luck: 123.4567%
- Control: 0.123
- Resilience: 12.3456%
- Maximum Weight Of Fish: 123.4567kg
Huh. Weird.
It’s nothing special, though it is a limited edition, and you will need it if you want to complete some of the Takeover quests.
How Do You Get The Experimental Rod?
If you want to get your hands on this peculiar addition to Fisch history, it’s pretty easy… as long as you act pretty quickly. It’s available as a prize as part of The Takeover’s special event quest. More specifically, you get it as a reward for completing the first challenge, or ‘Noob’ level.
Pick the quest up by heading over to Moosewood and speaking to the event NPC, the generic-looking character model with spray paint cans around his feet. Pick up the Noob level quest.
Next you need to catch 15 fish using the Flimsy Rod. It’s easy enough just to head over to the beach opposite the NPC and start fishing. You need to use that rod in particular, but you can use bait to speed things up. Once you’ve done that, just go back to the event NPC to get your rewards. The game might not tell you that you got the rod, but it should appear in your equipment bag.
