How to Get the Fisch Gilded Staff
The Gilded Staff is the last reward you get when completing Merlin’s Quest. Our guide linked above goes into more detail! In short, speak to the Merlin NPC. Then, when a Rift opens, step inside and complete the obby. At the end, you will obtain one Shard, which you give to Merlin.
You will get a reward for each Shard you give. After four Shards, you will receive the Gilded Staff as a token of all your hard work!
What Is The Gilded Staff?
Despite the name, the Gilden Staff isn’t a staff at all, nor is it a rod. Instead, it is a skin that you equip to your rod. They don’t do anything, and they are purely cosmetic. These are a fun way to decorate your rods and change the appearance without changing the base stats for that rod.
Normally, skins go with a specific rod. Similarly, you can only normally purchase skins from Skin Crares or using Robux, so the Gilded Staff is a fun and exclusive way to celebrate the event.
What Rod is the Gilded Staff For?
This leaves the question, which rod is the Gilded Staff for? That’s the thing… no one knows! Rumour has it that players have tested this skin on all rods, but it doesn’t equip to any of them.
Perhaps in the future, there will be a new rod that this skin is for? Recently, there have been teasers in the Fisch Discord Server about Aliens in a future update, which could have something to do with this mystery.
