Update is here, and there’s a new mystery to solve. The new Fisch Rifts are popping up all over Sunstone Island, with danger and rewards waiting inside. This guide is here to tell you how to find them, and what to expect inside.

Fisch Rifts Guide – How To Complete Merlin’s Quest
What Are The Fisch Rifts?
The Rifts are a new mechanic that appeared with the November 15th update. Merlin (The wizard on Sunstone Island) was messing with Enchant Relics and exploded his Magic Orb, blasting one wall off his house and doing strange things to Sunstone Island. He needs your help to restore his magic orb, and to do that, you need to enter the Rifts and recover what’s lost inside.
How To Find Rifts
Rifts will appear every few minutes on Sunstone Island. You will know a rift has activated, because you should get a system message announcing it. The Rifts can appear in different places around Sunstone Island. We’ve so far found them in a few places, though none far from the usual paths on Sunstone.
Rifts will disappear after a few minutes, whether anyone has used them or not. To use the rift, just walk up to it.
We’re currently aware of four different colors of Rifts:
- Blue
- Green
- Red – Careful with this one, we keep immediately dying as soon as entering this one.
- Purple
What’s Inside Rifts?
Once you enter a Rift, you’ll only have a short time there. You’re transported to a small area with glowing pools, and a parkour section. You’ll need to complete the jumping segment without falling into the pools and without running out of time.
If you fall and die, you’ll be kicked from the Rift. (And get the usual money penalty.) If you return to the Rift again, you won’t be able to re-enter.
On the other hand, if you make it to the end, you can pick up a Shard. Bring this Shard back to Merlin in the overworld, and he’ll give you a reward for your troubles.
