About The Hype Timer
You’ll find the Hype Timer on the central island at Grand Reef. It marks the countdown to the new update, but now the countdown is a little more interesting. Now you get XP bonuses in line with the timer. For every time segment the multiplier increases. Then, if you happen to be in a server at the time the update drops, there’s a special reward waiting.
Hype Timer Time Blocks
The Hype Timer is broken up into blocks. They’re not all a consistent amount of time, so we’ll go over each of them and the multiplier you get.
- 24 Hours To Go – 1.5x Luck Boost
- 12 Hours To Go – 1.8x Luck Boost
- 6 Hours To Go – 2x Luck Boost
- 3 Hours To Go – 2.5x Luck Boost
- 1 Hour To Go – 3x Luck Boost
- 30 Minutes To Go – 3.5x Luck Boost
- 10 Minutes To Go – 5x Luck Boost
- 5 Minutes To Go – 6x Luck Boost
- Active In Fisch At The Time Of The Update – Free Exclusive Bobber
So, if you’re present in as server at the exact time of the Atlantis update, you get a special bobber for ringing in the occasion with your fellow fishers. Do we need another bobber? Probably not. Are we going to be there to get it because we’re afraid of missing out? Probably.
