Fisch Lucky Pools Guide
Whether you’re a new or seasoned player to Fisch, the Lucky Pool is a rare and quiet event welcome to every fisher. It’s easily recognised by its strange particle effect of purple and golden shimmers ascending into the air from a radius within a body of water.
Unlike other game events, the Lucky Pools does not notify via announcement or in-game chatroom when it spawns. Instead, it’s exclusive only to those who happen upon it by chance. Fishing in a Lucky Pool grants the player a flat +45% Luck Boost, which tags onto their Rod build and general server luck if applicable.
Unfortunately, this means there’s no way to know where or when a Lucky Pool spawns. To double down, the Lucky Pool event currently has no Totem to forcefully trigger it. How unlucky!
Should You Fish In The Lucky Pools?
The obvious answer is of course, yes. However, I’d recommend mid to late-game players at least acknowledge the spawn location of the Lucky Pool first. For example, a Lucky Pool found within Moosewood Pond, whilst still lucky, will limit your fish encounters. The rarest is the Legendary Whiptail Catfish which isn’t very valuable alone.
You’d be better spending your time at the Grand Reef and fishing for the Legendary and Mythic found there as they’re several times the value of a Whiptail Catfish, and if you have a decent enough rod, encounters won’t be far and few between.
But, for early-game players, the Lucky Pools provide an excellent chance to fill out Bestiary entries and catch some higher-rarity fish to sell.
