Fisch Moonlit Mirage Guide
During this nighttime exclusive event, the sky casts a gentle purple horizon across the vast world of Fisch. It lasts roughly ten minutes, the standard time of a single night cycle.
As far as I know, using a Sundial Totem during daybreak won’t extend the event. But, if you’ve tried and have the answer, feel free to comment! Equally, I doubt the event will remain in effect if a Sundial Totem is used during the night to switch cycles to daytime.
What Happens During The Moonlit Mirage?
Across all islands, the Lunar Mutation becomes available which applies a flat x2.5 value to all fish with it. Lunar mutated fish appear bright and pale with a faint glow, and when caught they sometimes have a ring around their body similar to that on Saturn.
What’s special about the Moonlit Mirage is the stackable bonus for catching these exclusive mutant fish. Every Lunar caught applies the Moonlight Bonus which adds +5% weight and +5% value to the next fish you hook and catch. This unfortunately doesn’t include Crab Cage catches, so your trash and shrimp are safe from becoming Lunar…
Since this mutation stacks, take a rod with the Mutation Enchant (+7% Mutant encounters chance) to attempt consecutive catches and maximise profits. Or don’t, and enjoy it for its stunning simplicity!
To find a Moonlit Mirage for yourself, I’d recommend server-hopping. However, I did discover that popping a Sundial Totem to change the cycle to night might influence the beginning of a Moonlit Mirage as it did for me!
