Passive Abilities
If the great stats didn’t tempt you enough, perhaps the passive abilities will? That’s right, there’s more than one!
- +40% progress speed.
- 15% chance for the bar to rapidly fill.
- 10% for your fish to be Shiny/Sparkling.
- 20% chance for the Serene mutation.
- Gives a 14x value increase.
- Every 2 minutes, you can catch a Quiet fish, with every perfect catch reducing time by 20 seconds.
- The Quiet mutation increases value by 5x.
How To Obtain The Polaris Serenade Rod
With great stats and abilities, where’s the catch? That would be the effort needed to complete multiple quests to get it.
First, head to the Underground Music Venue and speak to the NPC called Nick. You can get to this area by completing the puzzle in Crystal Cove, which is located in The Depths.
When speaking to him, he will give you three quests which you must do in order. Once you finish the third and final one, he will give you the Polaris Serenade Rod as a token for all of your hard work.
Quests
First, you must catch a Serene String, which you can catch from the Desolate Deep. Speak to him to get five Aurora Totems.
Secondly, you need to catch a Serene Spectral Serpent from the Brine Pool. He will give you three Sparkling Totems and three Shiny Totems as a reward.
Last but not least, you need to obtain 50,000,000C$. After that, you will get the rod. Good luck!
