A slightly random name for a not-so-random rod. Getting it required true dedication to fishing, but is the Fisch Random Rod worth it? I’m here to talk about it and go through everything you need to know.

Fisch Random Rod – Stats
The Random Rod has high stats in, well, everything. It’s a great endgame rod, but I’ll talk more about whether it’s worth it below. For now, let’s take a look at the stats.
- Lure Speed: 80%
- Luck: 1,000%
- Control: 0.1
- Resilience: 10%
- Max KG: Infinite
Passive Abilities
Aside from high stats, this rod comes with multiple passive abilities.
- 50% chance for the Jackpot mutation.
- This increases value by 7.77x.
- 50% chance for the Unlucky mutation.
- This increases value by 0.5x.
- 50% chance for a fish you catch to have double its weight. However, there is also a 50% chance for it to have half of the weight.
- Every time you cast the line out, it will randomly change the stats:
- -80 to +80 resilience
- -0.3 to +0.3 control
- -77 to +100 progress speed
How to Obtain
The title of this guide gave the obtainment method away! You can only get this rod by reaching level 2,000… which is very high. There are multiple rods you can get by reaching specific level milestones. For example, reaching level 500 will reward you with the No Life Rod.
Is This Rod Worth It?
Let’s be honest, level 2,000 is a very high level to reach, even if you know about the Fisch Best Fishing Spot to earn XP fast.
Overall, this rod is a great option. It comes with high and powerful stats, as well as multiple passive abilities, with two of them giving the chance for a mutation to increase the value of what you catch.
But, even taking that into consideration, I don’t think working your way to level 2,000 only for this rod is worth it. If you’re an avid player and happen to reach level 2,000 naturally, then congratulations! This rod is simply a bonus. However, there are tons of great rods out there, and you can even enchant them to make them better.
