About The Rod Of The Eternal King
The Rod Of The Eternal King is an late game rod, one of the ten new craftable rods. It has the following stats.
- Lure Speed: 50
- Luck: 160
- Control: 0.175
- Resilience: 15
- Max Weight Of Fish: 75,000kg
Along with the stats, the Rod Of The Eternal King has its own special passive ability. Every 30 seconds there’s a 10% chance that the rod will summon the ‘Royal Escort’, a golden vortex around your line’s bobber. This gives a 150% Luck increase for 10 seconds. If you miss a catch, there’s a 15% chance that you’ll immediately catch a rarer one, nice!
How To Get The Rod Of The Eternal King
To get the Rod Of The Eternal King, you need to unlock crafting by opening the Ancient Archives. We go into that in detail in the guide linked above. Once you’ve done that, you need the following components to craft the rod. We’ll go into how you get each of them.
- Lunar Thread
- Occasionally found while fishing anywhere, also found in Treasure Chests.
- 3 Inferno Wood
- A Mythical wood caught in the lava in Roslit Volcano. You’ll need a Magma Rod to do this.
- 2 Golden Sea Pearls
- Golden Pearls are rare Sea Pearls obtained from Clams. You catch Clams in Roslit Bay, and each one you catch will have a Pearl inside, of various different colors. The Golden Pearl is the rarest kind, so get catching.
