Fisch Sunken Chests Guide
The Sunken Chests appeared sometime after the Dr Glimmerfin event as a new and permanent game feature. Similar to Shark Hunts, a server-wide announcement will declare the spawning of Sunken Chests near a random Island.
After spawning, players race against one another to be the first at the scene and open as many chests as possible. In this competitive quick-fire event, between 3 and 5 chests spawn and each opened only once. However, if you’re incredibly fast (or play on a Private Server like I do), you can selfishly open them all and keep everything to yourself.
That said, even in a Private Server I’d still encourage you to make haste as the Chests despawn after 10 minutes.
