Fisch Treasure Appraiser Guide – Including How To Get Traveler’s Whistle

Despite the name, the Fisch Treasure Appraiser has nothing to do with treasure. Instead, it can give your creatures multipliers to increase their value. Our guide goes through everything you need to know about this NPC and how it works.

Fisch Treasure Appraiser Guide

You can find the Treasure Appraiser NPC on Treasure Island, which you can get to by using the Traveler’s Whistle. The Treasure Appraiser works similarly to how the Appraiser NPC works, but with a minigame to play!

Traveler’s Whistle

This item costs 2,500,000 from the Traveling Merchant. Keep in mind that the stock for the Traveling Merchant regularly changes, so if the Traveler’s Whistle isn’t available, you’ll need to keep checking back.

Once you purchase it, simply select it from your inventory to use it, and it will teleport you to Treasure Island. If you want to leave, you can use the Conception Conch or Magic Mirror.

Treasure Appraiser Minigame

Once you speak to the Treasurer Appraiser, you will get the option to pay 1,000 for him to appraise a fish. Hold the fish out, and a minigame will appear. With the other Appraiser, you will get a random weight or mutation, but this works slightly differently.

In the minigame, a menu with different boxes will appear, and each box has a different weight. However, you won’t be able to see the weight, as they appear blank with a ‘?’. Only once you select a box will you see the weight.

You can select one box from each row, and you can end it by selecting the ‘Take Now’ button or selecting a box from all seven rows. These multipliers will stack, but if you want to reappraise, you can pay another 1,000.
