Fisch Zeus Trial Guide

Taking inspiration from Squid Games (likely because of the popularity surrounding Season 2), Zeus’s fondness for deathly games shines through during his Trial.

Located in the Northern wing, the Zeus Trial begins as soon as you step into the blue portal that spits lightning. On entry, a popup reminds the player that they have 5 minutes to complete two minigames and unlock the door. Each minigame has a room located to the right and left, with the door straight from the spawn location.

Completing the Western Puzzle (Red-Light Green-Light-inspired)

This one is relatively simple, don’t let the Zeus statue watch you inch closer. Whenever he faces the wall you can safely walk forward, and when he faces you stand still. Moving will anger Zeus and he will teleport you back to the start for failing the puzzle. But, succession lies on the other side of his statue just past the red line, where you’ll find the first part of the code to input into the gate.

Completing the Eastern Puzzle (Glass Bridge-inspired)

This one is the trickier of the two since it’s all down to luck. If you enter the Trial with other players, you could wait for them to make risky jumps first and follow suit. However, stand on the wrong stone and you’ll drop into the lava below, killing you instantly. You’ll teleport back to your spawn location and lose some of your cash… But, if you’re successful you’ll gain the second half of the code to input into the gate!

Opening The Gate

With both codes, you’ll unlock the gate leading to a Clock and the Zeus Rod. The Clock, if turned to the corresponding image to the descriptive, will unlock the Kraken Pool alongside the other 4 Clocks scattered around Atlantis. As for the Zeus Rod, it contains the following stats:

  • Lure Speed: 40%
  • Luck: 70%
  • Control: 0.25
  • Resilience: 15%
  • Max KG: Infinite
  • Cost: 1,700,000 C$

Alongside its stats, the Zeus Rod has a 10% chance to cast a Thunderstorm which provides the rod additional Lure Speed and may also apply the Electric Shock mutation to caught fish. However, Electric Shock fish occasionally get replaced with the Charred mutation, selling for 50% of their base value for being burned.
