Here are the current plants that count as Berry-type, listed in alphabetical order. We’ll add more fruit if we find others not on the list yet.

What Are Berry Plants For?
Berry-type plants are one of the categories of crops needed as part of the Beanstalk Event. The NPC at the foot of the Beanstalk will ask for certain types of crops, and you will need to submit crops of this type to grow the Beanstalk. The type of crop the NPC asks for changes each hour, and the Beanstalk progress also resets. You need 900 Points to grow the Beanstalk, and when you do, you’ll be able to climb the short obby to pick up some rewards, and you can reach the clouds at the top, and trade with the Giant NPC to trade for special items.
As well as the Beanstalk event stuff, Berry-type crops are also the crops affected by the Deer and Spotted Deer pets. With the introduction of the Prismatic Elder Strawberry, this actually makes Deer and Spotted Deer a moderately more useful pet to have around, as they will occasionally double berry harvests, a good money-maker if you have an Elder Strawberry plant with lots of valuable mutations.
