Grow a Garden Dinosaur Egg Obtainment
To obtain Dinosaur Eggs, speak with the NPC standing beside the DNA Machine. He will tell you to exchange any pets except Dinosaurs for a chance to receive either a Dinosaur or a Dinosaur Egg. Rarer pets exchanged have a higher chance of becoming dinosaurs without the egg waiting times.
Once you’ve submitted a pet, the machine takes 1 hour to process and create your Dinosaur Egg (or Dinosaur). Placed in your garden, it takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch.
Dinosaur Egg Pets
Let’s meet the residents from a Land Before Time (Anyone else remember that show?).
- Raptor
- Hatch chance: 35%
- Clever Claws: Collected fruit has a 2-2.5% chance of developing the Amber Mutation (10x value).
- Raptor Dance: Player speed increases by 14-14.5%
- Triceratops
- Hatch chance: 32.5%
- Tri-horn: Every 3.33 minutes, this pet rams into 3 random plants, advancing their growth by 33:33m. Each time this ability triggers, it has a 15% chance to happen again immediately without cooldown.
- Stegosaurus
- Hatch chance: 28%
- Prehistoric Doubling: Small chance to duplicate harvested fruits.
- Prehistoric Harvester: Increased chance to duplicate harvested prehistoric plants.
- Pterodactyl
- Hatch chance: 3%
- Sky Reptile: Occasionaly flies past fruits, leaving them with the Windstruck Mutation. Has a lower chance of applying Twisted instead.
- Air Time: Player jump height increases by 14%.
- Brontosaurus
- Hatch chance: 1%
- Giant Incubator: Pets hatched whilst this pet is active have a higher base weight.
- T-Rex
- Hatch chance: 0.5%
- Apex Predator: Sometimes eats a random mutation off fruits and follows up with a roar, applying it to other fruits within range.
Just as some fun trivia, all pets featured in the Dinosaur Egg are Legendary rarity pets or higher!
