Grow a Garden Dragonfly
As of the release of pets in Grow a Garden, the Dragonfly is the rarest one to find. It hails from the rare Bug Egg, which has a 3% chance to appear during egg stock rotations every 30 minutes.
The Bug Egg is also the most expensive as of the pet release, costing 50 million coins to buy! The only other way to get one is by purchasing the Bug Egg from the in-game Robux store, but even inside this, it still only has a 1% drop chance.
Once placed, it takes a long 8 hours to hatch, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get the 1% chance Dragonfly first time! This bug is the rarest of all found within this egg, and for good reason…
What Does The Dragonfly Do?
After hatching, the Dragonfly swarms around your garden and randomly mutates one of your crops to become golden every 5 minutes. Of all pets, the Dragonfly is undoubtedly the best one at the release of the Pet Update because of its unique buff.
Not only does it make all plants more profitable, but if you leave it to work idly, your entire garden could potentially become consumed by golden plants! Imagine the flex, and imagine the funds. Since you can have up to three pets on your plot, you could easily transform your area using three Dragonflies into a rich, golden garden in no time.
