What Are Fruit Plants For?
Fruit Plants are a category of plant in Grow A Garden. Different categories can overlap, with different crops falling into more than one category.
Some types of crop are impacted by pet or sprinkler effects. Fruit-type plants are one of the broader ones, so the particular effects are minimal.
More important during the Beanstalk event though, is that Fruit Plants are a type of crop that the Jack NPC in the central area might ask for to fuel the Beanstalk. You need to hand over crops of a specific type to Jack. Different fruits are awarded points by rarity. If your server manage to amass 900 Points by handing over crops, the Beanstalk grows and you can climb to the top, picking up rewards on the way.
Once you reach the top, you’ll find the Giant NPC you can trade with for rare event items. The Beanstalk will return to its default state after a cooldown time, letting you grow it again. Growing it multiple times will unlock better rewards.
