Grow a Garden Kitsune Obtainment
As with all pets, the Kitsune hatches from an egg. For a chance to obtain it, you’ll need to buy the Zen Egg from the Tanuki NPC in the middle of the map for 30 Chi. The Tanuki has an hourly restock, so the Zen Egg won’t always be available.
After placement, the Zen Egg takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch, with a 0.08% chance to unveil the Prismatic rarity Kitsune.
How To Earn Zen Points
Every hour on the hour, the Zen Event begins. During this, the player converts Tranquil crops into Chi by trading them to the Zen Channeller or Tanuki NPC located at the map’s centre.
This gradually builds the Zen Tree, rewarding the player with Zen Eggs on occasion whilst unlocking more shop wares sold by the Tanuki who also resides in the centre.
Kitsune Ability
Nine-Tailed Myth: Every 22 minutes, the Kitsune travels into another player’s garden and mutates one of their crops with Chakra before stealing it (duplication), and giving it to its owner. It has a very rare chance to mutate with the Firefox Chakra instead of the Chakra mutation.
Is It The New META Pet?
Is the Kitsune good, or just popular because of its charming design and unforgiving hatch chance?
Well, I believe this pet is the latest META. It’s essentially the new Raccoon, but with a refined ability, adding an exclusive pet-only mutation to any crops it thieves. This creates a new money farming method if you set up an alt account with a heavily mutated, high-value crop and allow the Kitsune to routinely duplicate it for your main account.
Or, this same method but with a friend whom you don’t mind splitting the profits with.
