Added during the Chicken Zombie event in anticipation of the Decorative Garden update, the new Grow a Garden Mythical Egg has stolen the hearts and cash of many farmers. This guide covers the spawn chance of this egg, its hatch timer, possible pets and their buffs.

Grow a Garden Mythical Egg Overview
During egg restocks, which happen every half-hour, the Mythicak Egg has a 7% chance to appear as one of the three available eggs. This puts it second to the Bug Egg, which has a 3% chance!
When stocked, the egg costs 8,000,000 cash to buy, and takes around 5 hours and 10 minutes to hatch.
Mythical Egg Pets
Let’s meet the latest residents found within the Mythical Egg.
- Grey Mouse
- 35.71% Hatch chance
- Increases its owner’s walking speed by 10% whilst active.
- Every 10 minutes, the Grey Mouse gains a bonus 500 EXP.
- Brown Mouse
- 26.79% Hatch chance
- Increases its owner’s jump height by 10% whilst active.
- Every 8 minutes, the Brown Mouse gains a bonus 750 EXP.
- Squirrel
- 26.79% Hatch chance
- The Squirrel gives the player a 2.5% chance to keep the seed they’re planting, essentially duplicating it.
- Red Giant Ant
- 8.93% Hatch chance
- The Red Giant Ant has a 5% chance to duplicate harvested crops, with fruits gaining an additional 5% chance (10% total)
- Red Fox
- 1.79% Hatch chance
- Similar to the raccoon, this thieving pet treks into another player’s plot every 10 minutes on average to duplicate and steal a seed.
- This doesn’t work on event seeds, and isn’t a guarantee either, with the Foxes’ succession being based on RNG.
