Days are pretty long in the game’s world, but the Grow A Garden Night Event brings its own rewards, ones you should get to know about if you want to get hold of some of the special limited edition content available in Lunar Glow. Grow A Garden Night Event Guide
What’s the point of Night, and how can you get it? Let’s break this into sections.
What Does The Night Event Do?
Like a lot of other events, the Night Event is a way to get a special mutation applied to your crops. In the case of Night, crops exposed to the moon might pick up the Moonlit Mutation, which gives them a dark purple look.
This is actually a big deal during the current event, as you can trade in Moonlit crops with the Wise Old Owl for Lunar Points, which give you a bunch of useful, limited edition items.
How To Get The Night Event
Update: The Night Event now appears every four hours.
The Night Event isn’t a randomly occurring event like rain, snow, or thunder. Instead, it’s a timed event. Night falls for ten minutes every hour. If you want to know how long you need to wait until nightfall, head to the event area in the center of the field. There’s a smaller owl to the left of the Wise Old Owl that displays a timer for the next Night Event.
Once night falls, the event will carry on for ten minutes. Once it’s over, you’ll need to wait another 50 minutes before the Night rolls around again. At least it should be worth the wait.
