Pet mutations are here. Some are great, some are good, some are just okay. Which is which? We’re going to try to tackle that question with our Grow A Garden pet mutation tier list.

Grow A Garden is free on Roblox. If you’d like to learn the details on all the different pet variations, we’ve got a Grow A Garden pet mutations guide, too.

Grow A Garden Pet Mutation Tier List

This tier list runs from the best mutations at the top, to the less impressive ones further down.

S Tier

The best mutations in the game right now. They’re extremely useful to have and will make a big difference to your overall setup. These are the ones you should aim for if you can.

  • Ascended
  • Rainbow

A Tier

These are very good mutations; they’re pretty useful and will definitely enhance your overall gardening game. They might not quite hit the S Tier level, but you can still be pleased if you get one of these.

  • Golden
  • Shocked

B Tier

These are decent. They’re pretty good mutations, but they’re nothing super special. They will help you out, but not in game-changing ways. They’re just quite useful to have around.

  • Inverted
  • Ironskin
  • Mega
  • Tiny

C Tier

Underwhelming. These aren’t super exciting, or their ability is niche enough, the effects might not make a major difference. It’s better than nothing, but we’d suggest getting another mutation when the chance comes around again.

  • Frozen
  • Radiant
  • Shiny
  • Windy

D Tier

These aren’t really useful at all, we can’t recommend them.

  • No D Tier mutations right now.

If you don’t agree with our takes, don’t forget to let us know in the comments. We put this list together based on our own experience, and we’d be happy to get some opinions from other players on the subject.
