How To Get A Raiju
Since to Corrupted Zen update, you can find the Raiju for sale from the Zen Shop, found by talking to the Tanuki on the Tranquil side of the Zen area. When in stock, you can purchase the Raiju for 350 Chi. You earn Chi by trading Tranquil fruits in with the Tanuki, and you can get hold of Tranquil fruits through the hourly Zen event.
The Raiju is rarely in stock, but make sure to get enough Chi stored up in your wallet in order to purchase the pet when it is in stock, as you’ll only have an hour before the shop restocks. (Also, whatever you do, don’t restock the shop if you wind it in stop.)
What Is The Raiju?
The Raiju is a Divine-rarity pet. It looks like a fox-like creature, with white fur, and what appears to be bits of yellow armored plating. It often crackles with electricity.
The Raiju’s powers relate to its electrical nature. The pet will occasionally eat fruits with the Shocked mutation. The Raiju is nice enough to pay you over the sale value for these fruits. After its meal, the Raiju has a bit of electric indigestion and spits the Static mutation onto some nearby fruits. If this happens during a Thunderstorm, the Raiju might spit more Shocked mutations onto the fruit.
Is The Raiju Any Good?
The Raiju is a great moneymaking pet, assuming you stick around in-game enough to get fruit Shocked by Thunderstorms. You will make more money on your Shocked fruit, and get extra mutations out of it. It’s also not incredibly hard to get the Chi to pay for it.
