What Is The Sungod Event?
The Sungod event is pretty hard to miss. A giant gold monkey (based on developer Jandel’s Roblox avatar), will rise up from the void. This avatar stands there, eyes glowing, for a few minutes, bathing everything in gold light. The Sungod event is the only way we know so far to get the Dawnbound mutation. (We’ll talk about that a bit more below.)
How Do You Get The Sungod Event?
The Sungod Event is one of the game’s admin events. This means they have to be activated manually by someone with admin powers, and it won’t activate at random in the way regular events (like Frost, Rain, or Thunder) are.
One of the best times for Admin events is shortly before updates, usually on Saturdays, so hanging around an hour or two before the update is a good way to improve your chances of seeing some special events. Aside from that, you might just get lucky.
What’s The Sungod Event Secret?
On release of the new update, the documentation mentioned that there was a secret easter egg attached to the Sungod Event that players could discover for special rewards. Fortunately, you don’t need to figure it out; we’ll detail what you need here.
- First, you will need a Sunflower.
- Then, you need to find three other players with Sunflowers.
- Finally, you need the Sungod event to kick off.
- Once the event is running, all of you equip your Sunflowers into your hands.
- Walk towards the Sungod with your Sunflowers held and present them to him together (that is, stand at the edge of the map). The Sunflowers should all get the Dawnbound mutation, which gets a passive 150x boost in sale value… and bragging rights for days.
