What Is The Tarantula Hawk?
The Tarantula Hawk is a wasp-like pet. It resembles a dark blue wasp. It has an ability quite similar to the Queen Bee. The Tarantula Hawk will pollinate crops from time to time as it hovers around the garden. It will also sometimes refresh the cooldown of another pet’s skills, allowing them to use skills more quickly, quite the team player.
How Do You Get The Tarantula Hawk?
You get hold of the Tarantula Hawk from the Anti-Bee Egg. Not to be mistaken for the Bee Egg, this limited-time pet egg is only available through the Bizzy Bear quest. You need to complete quests for this NPC, handing over honey and pollinated fruits.
Keep on, and you should receive several Anti-Bee Eggs. Hatching these gives you a chance of getting a Tarantula Hawk. If you don’t manage to do it this way, then maybe another player will give you one.
Is The Tarantula Hawk Good?
At the moment, the Tarantula Hawk is pretty handy to have in your garden. Pollinating crops is the name of the game while the event is active, so any pet that does it is handy to have around. The fact it also assists other pets makes it a pretty efficient use of a pet slot, as it enhances the performance of all the active pets in your garden.
You should keep in mind, though, that once the Bizzy Bees event is over, pollinating crops won’t be as useful, so the Tarantula Hawk will be less useful practically.
