Grow A Garden Panda
The first section deals with how players get pandas, the second covers what pandas do.
How Do Players Get Pandas?
If you’re looking to get hold of a panda now.. we’ve got some bad news for you. These exclusive pets were only available for the first hour after the Animal Update. You could get the panda by walking over to its own stand next to the new egg stall and interacting with it.
So, if you haven’t got one yet, you might find it hard to get one… unless someone is kind enough to gift you theirs. You can gift pets by walking over to a player while holding the pet, and pressing the interact button.
What Does The Panda Do?
Like most animals, the panda has the passive effect. It’s similar to the Bunny and Black Bunny pets, but while the rabbits eat carrots, the Panda eats bamboo. Every so often, a Panda will eat a piece of bamboo. Fortunately, this bear isn’t just living rent free in your garden. They will pay you for each bit of bamboo they eat, at 150% of the sale value. Useful!
It can be a bit of a problem if you want to keep bamboo aside for feeding the Angry Plant. So, you might want to scoop your panda up before the greedy bear helps himself to every single bamboo plant in your garden.
