How To Get Eye Ore in The Forge
Eye Ore is found inside the Basalt Rocks, Basalt Cores, Veins, and Volcanic Rocks within the Ruined Cave system of the Forgotten Kingdom.
The cheapest tool capable of finding Eye Ore is the Platinum Pickaxe, which just about manages to slowly carve away at Basalt Rocks. That said, I recommend opting for a Luckier and more powerful tool, to have more deposit variety and speed up the encounter chances.
Recommended Pickaxe
I recommend using the Mythril Pickaxe, costing $67,500 from the Forgotten Kingdoms Pickaxe Shop. It has a naturally high Luck Boost at 55%, and can break down any rock found across the Forgotten Kingdom. Also, the Mythril Pickaxe has two Rune Sockets, allowing you to dual the Miner Shard Luck and Miner Shard Yield, to increase Ore encounters and rarity.
Captain Rowan Quest 3
If you follow The Forge storyline, the first time you’ll need an Eye Ore is for Captain Rowan’s third quest. He is located at the entrance of Ruined Cave, found on top of the hill at Forgotten Kingdom.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, and it never has been. As of the BETA release, the Lightite Ore is the rarest Legendary, with a 1 in 3,333 encounter chance.
Yes! It has a small debuff, removing 10% of your max health, but this isn’t so bad depending on your race.
If you negate this with a Race that offers more HP, such as the Orc (+15% HP), then the debuff is somewhat negated. After tackling the debuff, you’ll enjoy a sweet 4x Multiplier on your new forges, and a +15% DMG to your weapons/armour, making this a valuable Ore for combat buffs.
